Updo Hair Styles
The slightly messy prom hair style was very popular last year. Check out the hair style, see below, that you may see a lot of this year at the prom as well.
This style is created by pulling back a majority of the hair and twisting it into a low chignon. Then various pieces of hair that were left out of the chignon are pinned into place in various patterns. Several curly strands have been left out to frame the face and add definition to the style. This style will work well with a sleeveless, sparkly prom dress, as pictured below. You can create your own distinctive style of the messy updo by pinning back the sections of hair in your own pattern.
