This prom season, there are 5 very different hair styles that are popular. Below are examples of each one. First, we will start with the retro look.

Christina proved that she really is the queen of retro curls with this sexy style from the Viva Glam VI dinner. Graduated layers were cut through her shoulder length hair to add texture to the very ends. This style will suit medium and thick hair types best.

1. Retro Look. This hair style has been made popular by celebrities such as Charlize Theron and Christina Aquilera. It will require a small barrel curling iron placed in unique places throughout the hair to create the waves for the retro look.
