 Top Prom Hair Styles

The next top prom hair style that is extremely popular is the long wavy hair style.  Soft, bouncy waves are added throughout the hair  for a soft, romantic look and feel.

To create all over curls, add a curl-enhancing cream or gel throughout the hair and blow dry the hair using a diffuser attachment. 

Next add the waves with a medium barrel curling iron.  For added dimension to the style, you can alternate between a small and medium barrel curling iron throughout the hair.  The different size curls will make the style stand out.

Lindsay Lohan has mastered the long wavy hair style.  Notice the crown area is kept smooth and straight.  The curls and waves start about ear level an go down to the ends.

The wavy hair style, see right, is  slightly different than the hair style above.  This style starts with a smooth crown all  the way down to past the chin level.

The waves are added from the chin down to the ends.  There is a slight waviness to the side swept bangs.

Notice how the hair is extra shiny.  Adding various lowlights and highlights throughout the hair will draw more light to the hair, making it appear shinier.
