   Prom Long Hair Styles

 The long, wavy hair style is very much in style for prom this year.  See hair style photo below for a great example of how to make your style just shine.

To create this style on your own, first apply a curl enhancing gel or styling cream throughout the hair.  Blow dry the hair using a diffuser attachment and just your fingers to shape and position the hair.

Next apply a heat styling product and use a curling iron to add soft waves throughout the hair.   Hair in the crown area is kept smooth to about the ear level and the waves are added from the ear down to the ends of the hair.

Add extra height in the crown area by back combing sections of hair and then smoothing over the top of the hair with your fingers.

Finally, add some finishing spray or strong-hold hair spray to seal in the shiny wavy locks.

To add a little sophistication to the style for your prom, you might want to add a decorative barrette or hair pin.
